Given enough time, anyone can shepherd a project through the planning, permitting, and construction processes of a project.  Expediting a job requires a comprehensive understanding of the laws, rules and regulations of the pertinent jurisdictions, the ability to spot hidden costs and potential problems, and familiarity with the idiosyncrasies of each government agency.

J.T. Consulting Services has that knowledge.  We also have good working relationships with many of the local officials.  We’ve helped clients work within many jurisdictions in the Pacific Northwest to determine the best uses for properties and to obtain the necessary land use action and permits.  We are familiar with both city and county ordinances in the region, as well as with the Growth Management Acts of Washington and Oregon.  We maintain a library of planning and  land use codes in our office.  As a result, clients depend on us to interpret regulations and figure out the best way to meet government requirements without undue expense.
